Carole has had a life-long interest in dolls and their history. Since childhood she has made dolls out of various materials, porcelain finally becoming her preferred medium.

The dolls vary in size up to 69cm (27in) and have glass eyes and human hair or mohair wigs. the bodies of the dolls are cloth with an armature to allow for positioning.

Carole likes her dolls to look gentle and realistic.
