Rosa began making dolls as a child, and has continued ever since, experimenting with various materials over the years. Rosa now works in instant papier-mâché, making images approximately 40cm (16in) high. They are figures of fancy, brightly clothed, and goddesses and nymphs inspired by her love of the countryside. These are clothed in earth-hued silk paper.
Twenty years ago Rosa embarked upon a second career as a counsellor and trainer. She is now focussing on dollmaking again, and also runs creativity workshops.
Rosa has been a member of the Craft Council's Index of selected makers since 1978, and has work in several public and private collections.
