Maureen HollimanSadly, one of our long-standing members, Maureen Holliman, died in October after a long illness very bravely fought. She and her lovely dolls will be greatly missed.
1999 ExhibitionDuring the summer the BDA held a very successful exhibition in The Salisbury and South Wiltshire Museum in The Close, beside Salisbury Cathedral. The museum staff did us proud and the dolls were beautifully displayed in a lovely, light room. The Museum also contains a very nice exhibition of historical costume which proved very interesting to the members who visited. (The Museum also contains a Coffee Shop which sells delicious sandwiches - as does the Military Museum next door!) Four new members were elected to the BDA at the AGM in September. UK Members:
